Alaska High School Volleyball - Mountain City Christian Academy overwhelmed by Kenai Central

Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Kardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Grizzlies come into the 3A Southcentral challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Grace Christian beat Redington (Wasilla, AK), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK) in a 3A Southcentral game, on Saturday, September 13. Mountain City Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Seahawks come into the outing with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK).
