The Ursuline Academy Lions volleyball team (New Orleans, LA), was beaten 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA)

The (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Academy of the Sacred Heart was beaten by Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Ursuline Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA).
