The Bearcats (21-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 22-7 record. In their last challenge, Lindsay beat Nocona (Nocona, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Pilot Point will attempt to upgrade on its 6-20 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 12-16 record after their 3-1 league win over Valley View (Valley View, TX).
