The The Colony Cougars volleyball squad (The Colony, TX), dropped 3-0 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX)

With the win, Wakeland improves its record to 15-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to meet the Trojans in a 5A Region II District 12 contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 6-15. Newman Smith won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Turner (Carrollton, TX)

Next, the Cougars meet the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. The Colony will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 12-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX).
