North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alleghany over North Stokes

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) and the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), saw Alleghany's volleyball squad beat North Stokes by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Alleghany upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to play the Buckin' Elks in a Northwest 1A bout on Tuesday, September 14. The Buckin' Elks go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Elkin lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)

The Vikings now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host East Wilkes for a Northwest 1A bout on Tuesday, September 14. North Stokes will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-5.
