The East Greenwich Avengers volleyball team (East Greenwich, RI), went down 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI)

The Rebels (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders enter the State Championship Division - South challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Prout defeated Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Avengers encounter the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a State Championship Division - South challenge, on Wednesday, September 15. East Greenwich will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Skippers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
