The Panthers go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC).

With the loss, Hertford County moves to 1-3 on the year. The Bears host First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to battle the Nighthawks in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest on Tuesday, September 14. The Nighthawks go into the contest with a record of 3-4. First Flight lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC)
