Tennessee High School Soccer - Watertown knocks off Jackson County

Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Purple Tigers face the Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) in a A District 7 challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Watertown will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 7-1 league win over York Institute (Jamestown, TN).

The Blue Devils now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smith County for a A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, September 20.
