Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Lumberton will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
The Colts now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Jack Britt for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. Cape Fear will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-1.
