The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), saw Gainesville's volleyball squad beat Apalachee by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Gainesville upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Red Elephants host Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA) to play the Raiders in a bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Wildcats now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe Area for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. Apalachee will play a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 7-11.
