The Coventry Oakers topped the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Oakers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cranston East for a non-league test on Thursday, September 15. Coventry will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-2.

The Mounties (0-3) will now prepare for their test against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers enter the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, East Greenwich gained a win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI), 2-1, in a non-league test.
