The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) and the visiting Pendleton County Wildcat (Franklin, WV), saw Elkins's volleyball squad nip Pendleton County by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Elkins upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a bout on Wednesday, September 14. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcat now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tucker County for a bout on Thursday, September 15. Pendleton County will play a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-1.
