The Faith Baptist Contenders held off the host Lancaster Baptist Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Contenders now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Monica Academy for a test on Thursday, September 15. Faith Baptist will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Vasquez (Acton, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA). The Knights enter the test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Trinity Classical Academy held off The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
