The Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) volleyball overcame the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Halifax County upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Comets host Bassett (Bassett, VA) to face the Bengals in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 15. The Bengals go into the outing with a record of 1-1.
The Trojans now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Chatham for a non-league outing on Monday, September 19. Tunstall will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-7.
