The Nicholas County Grizzlies volleyball team (Summersville, WV), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Nicholas County was edged by Princeton (Princeton, WV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
