The Laney Buccaneers held off the visiting South Brunswick Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league test on Thursday, September 15.
The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, North Brunswick held off West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
