The Mt. Carmel Sundevils held off the host Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Sundevils now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fallbrook for a test on Tuesday, September 20.
The Longhorns (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Ramona was nudged by Christian (El Cajon, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
