The Northumberland Indians held off the visiting Westmoreland Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rappahannock for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 20.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Surry County was nudged by Southampton (Courtland, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
