The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) and the host Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), saw Pamlico County's volleyball squad nip Southside by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Pamlico County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to play the Devil Pups in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 15. The Devil Pups go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Lejeune won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Jones (Trenton, NC)

The Seahawks now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northside - Pinetown for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 15. Southside will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 10-0.
