Ohio High School Soccer - St. Joseph Central knocks off Clay

St. Joseph Central Flyers (Ironton, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Flyers confront the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) in a Southern Ohio I challenge, on Thursday, September 15. St. Joseph Central will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 league win over Western (Latham, OH).
The Panthers now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Clay will confront a Mohawks team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to West Union (West Union, OH). The Mohawks record now stands at 6-3.
