Next, the Eagles confront the Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL) in a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Columbia will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Midgets enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL).

The Hawks now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 20.
