Washington, DC High School Soccer - St. Albans nudges Jackson-Reed

St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 16. St. Albans will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE).
The Tigers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host School Without Walls for a DCIAA challenge on Wednesday, September 14. Jackson-Reed will confront a Penguins team coming off a 3-0 league win over Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Penguins record now stands at 2-2.
