The Jerome Tigers soccer team scored 5 points and limited the host Minico Spartans to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Tigers face the Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) in a 4A District IV contest, on Thursday, September 15. Jerome will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID).
The Spartans now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shelley for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 17. Minico will face a Russets team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID). The Russets record now stands at 2-6.
