Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Seton LaSalle nudges Serra Catholic

Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Serra Catholic Eagles (McKeesport, PA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels confront the Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL A 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Seton LaSalle will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA).

The Eagles now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chartiers-Houston for a WPIAL A 4 challenge on Thursday, September 15. Serra Catholic will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-5.
