The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) and the visiting South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA), saw Steel Valley's soccer squad get by South Allegheny by a count of 2-1.

The Ironmen now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Mifflin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 15. Steel Valley will meet a Titans squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA). The Titans record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, South Allegheny drops to 2-7 on the season. The Gladiators host South Park (South Park, PA) to meet the Eagles in a WPIAL AA 1 test on Wednesday, September 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-1. South Park won 1-0 in their recent league test against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA)
