The Baconton Charter Blazers routed the host Calhoun County Cougars softball squad by a final score of 22-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Blazers (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-II Region 1 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Seminole County was routed by Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA), 10-3, in a league battle.

The Cougars now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest Georgia STEM Charter for a 1A D-II Region 1 test on Thursday, September 15. Calhoun County will clash with a Aggies team coming off a 16-0 league win over Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Aggies record now stands at 3-3.
