The Pierce County Bears softball team (Blackshear, GA), was tipped 5-4 in Tuesday's league test with the host Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA)

Coming up next, the Herons clash with the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 15. Brantley County will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 14-6 league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA).

The Bears (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region 3 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Toombs County was tipped by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 7-1, in a league test.
