Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Links now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norfolk for a A District challenge on Thursday, September 15. Lincoln High will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Omaha North falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE) to battle the Titans in a A District challenge on Wednesday, September 14. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 12-7. Papillion-LaVista South lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE)
