McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Carthage for a Class 4 District 12 challenge on Wednesday, September 14.

With the loss, Seneca falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
