The Compton Early College Rising Phoenix topped the visiting Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rising Phoenix now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ambassador for a Mulholland test on Thursday, September 15. Compton Early College will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Price (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

The Aztec Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Price (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights enter the Mulholland test with a 0-5 record.
