Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Arcadia/Loup City Rebels (Arcadia, NE), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE) in a D2 District 7 match, on Thursday, September 15. Ansley/Litchfield will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Red Hornets come into the match with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Elba (Elba, NE).

With the loss, Arcadia/Loup City drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Central Valley (Greeley, NE) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 13. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 5-4. Central Valley lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE)
