The Goldsboro Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Beddingfield Bruins to 2 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton for a Neuse Six 2A game on Thursday, September 15. Goldsboro will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.

The Bruins (0-5) will now prepare for their game against North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Panthers enter the Neuse Six 2A game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, North Johnston nipped Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
