In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Blazer Tomcats volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the East Carter Raiders.

The Tomcats (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Raceland nudged Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders encounter the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a District 62 battle, on Thursday, September 15. East Carter will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Morgan County (West Liberty, KY).
