In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Marshall County Marshals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Calloway County Lakers.

The Marshals (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against McCracken County (Paducah, KY). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, McCracken County achieved victory over Graves County (Mayfield, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lakers clash with the Christian Fellowship Eagles (Benton, KY) in a District 4 battle, on Thursday, September 15. Calloway County will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY).
