Tennessee High School Volleyball - Cookeville over Wilson Central

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) and the visiting Wilson Central Wildcats (Lebanon, TN), saw Cookeville's volleyball squad beat Wilson Central by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Cookeville upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Siegel (Murfreesboro, TN) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 15. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 13-12. Siegel won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN)

The Wildcats now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Mount Juliet for a AAA District 7 bout on Thursday, September 15. Wilson Central will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 5-7.
