Alabama High School Volleyball - Mountain Brook over Homewood

Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 15. Mountain Brook will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 16-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL).

With the loss, Homewood drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Patriots host Parker (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Thundering Herd in a 6A Area 9 match on Wednesday, September 14.
