With the win, Ooltewah upgrades its record to 3-10 on the year. The Owls travel to Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 14. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

The Hustlin' Tigers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Bradley Central for a AAA District 5 bout on Tuesday, September 13. Howard Tech will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Bears record now stands at 11-8.
