The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against San Perlita (San Perlita, TX). The Trojans come into the 1A Region IV District 32 battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, San Perlita lost by Economedes (Edinburg, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Lasara Lions (Lasara, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. La Villa will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to La Villa (La Villa, TX).
