In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Leadership Academy Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thomasville Bulldogs.

The Falcons (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains come into the Northwest Piedmont 1A battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Bishop McGuinness achieved victory over Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Thursday, September 15. Thomasville will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC).
