The Loris Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Manning Monarchs to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgetown for a AAA Region 7 game on Thursday, September 15. Loris will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
The Monarchs (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Blue Jackets enter the AAA Region 7 game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Aynor gained a win over Dillon (Dillon, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
