Texas High School Volleyball - Monterey crushed by Cooper

The Cooper Pirates prevailed the visiting Monterey Plainsmen volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pirates now have a 25-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lubbock for a 5A Region I District 4 test on Saturday, September 17. Cooper will confront a Westerners team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Westerners record now stands at 5-21.

The Plainsmen (15-13) will now prepare for their test against Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region I District 4 test with a 10-16 record. In their last test, Abilene gained a win over Cooper (Abilene, TX), 3-1, in a league test.
