The Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH) volleyball were winner over the visiting Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Monroe betters its record to 11-1 on the year. The Hornets host Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - East outing on Thursday, September 15. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Bellbrook won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Franklin (Franklin, OH)

The Lumberjacks now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 15. Oakwood will face a Mohawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eaton (Eaton, OH). The Mohawks record now stands at 3-7.
