The Southwest DeKalb Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hapeville Charter for a 4A Area 6 game on Tuesday, September 13. Southwest DeKalb will confront a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-13.
The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their game against North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Eagles enter the 4A Area 6 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, North Clayton was nudged by Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
