The Perquimans Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Tarboro Vikings to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gates County for a Four Rivers 1A game on Thursday, September 15. Perquimans will meet a Red Barons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 4-8.
