North Carolina High School Volleyball - Pine Forest over Triton

September 13, 2022: Fayetteville, NC 28311

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) and the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), saw Pine Forest's volleyball squad beat Triton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Pine Forest upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Trojans host Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 14. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Gray's Creek won 3-1 in their recent league bout against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

The Hawks now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Overhills for a All American 3A/4A bout on Thursday, September 15. Triton will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-4.
