The Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) volleyball overcame the host Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Urbana betters its record to 5-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to face the Lions in a MVAL - Piedmont outing on Thursday, September 15. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Walkersville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)

The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Magruder for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 18.
