The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY) and the host Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY), saw St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's volleyball squad beat Canisius by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Marauders travel to East Aurora (East Aurora, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
The Crusaders now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Orchard Park for a non-league bout on Friday, September 15. Canisius will play a Quakers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Francis (Hamburg, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 4-0.
