The Marshall Eagles held off the host Arroyo Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Monte for a test on Friday, September 15. Marshall will confront a Lions team coming off a 25-16 non-league loss to Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.
The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Eagles enter the test with a 6-3 record.
