The Christ the King Crusaders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Union Academy Cardinals to 1 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Charter for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Christ the King will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.

The Cardinals (1-5) will now prepare for their game against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, South Stanly nipped North Stanly (New London, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
