The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) and the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), saw Highland Tech's volleyball squad beat South Point by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Highland Tech upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Rams host Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Bessemer City won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against North Gaston (Dallas, NC)

The Red Raiders now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Kings Mountain for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19.
